Job Summary:
We are seeking an efficient Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our Logistics operations, ensuring that orders are processed correctly and on time. You will work with scanning equipment and follow pick lists diligently. A strong focus on Safety, accuracy, and the ability to perform tasks involving significant physical exertion, including frequent Lifting, are key requirements. We expect all team members to strictly adhere to Safety protocols and wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to the packing/shipping station.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and productivity.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use required PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Be prepared for consistent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the efficient flow of the Logistics chain.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and scanning devices.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving frequent and significant Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices and commitment to wearing PPE.
- Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.
