Picker/Packer

Job Summary:
We're hiring Picker/Packers for our facility in Durham, North Carolina! In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from our warehouse inventory and carefully packing them for shipment to our customers. This position is a vital component of our fulfillment and logistics operations, ensuring that orders are processed with speed and accuracy. Your tasks will include using scanning equipment to locate items, verifying product details and quantities, and then packing orders securely to prevent damage. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is essential for both efficiency and Safety. Strict adherence to all company Safety policies and the mandatory use of provided PPE is expected. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from shelves and storage locations based on order instructions.
• Verify product information and quantities before packing.
• Pack orders securely using appropriate shipping materials.
• Label packages correctly for transit.
• Maintain a tidy and organized workstation.
• Follow all warehouse Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
• Meet established productivity standards for picking and packing tasks.
• Support team members and contribute to overall warehouse efficiency.
• Must be able to perform regular Lifting of packages and items up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced fulfillment environment.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive Lifting throughout the shift.
• Understanding of basic Safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Team player with good communication skills.
