Picker/Packer

Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated Picker/Packers to join our vibrant team in Durham, North Carolina. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and then carefully packing them for shipment. Your efficiency and precision directly impact our customer satisfaction and the overall success of our Logistics operations. We emphasize a culture of high performance and stringent Safety standards.
Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order fulfillment sheets.
• Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
• Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
• Select the correct shipping labels and ensure proper application.
• Prepare packages for shipment, including sealing, weighing, and documenting.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and work area.
• Follow all company guidelines for inventory management and order processing.
• Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols, including the correct usage of PPE .
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary.
• This job requires considerable physical activity, including standing, walking, and frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety procedures.
• Team-oriented and able to communicate effectively.
• Understanding of basic warehouse and Logistics principles.
