Job Summary:
We are hiring Picker/Packers for our busy distribution center in Portland, Oregon. This critical role ensures that customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled and prepared for shipment, forming a key part of our logistics process. You will be responsible for locating specific items within the warehouse, verifying quantities, and packing them securely for transit. A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential. The Picker/Packer will work closely with our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track orders and inventory. Safety is our utmost priority; you are required to strictly adhere to all company safety protocols, including the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques. This position is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy a fast-paced work environment and contribute positively to a team. Responsibilities include: Accurately picking items from warehouse locations based on order lists or RF scanner data. Verifying the quantity and condition of picked items. Packing items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers. Labeling packages with shipping information. Conducting quality checks to ensure order accuracy. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Following all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE and safe lifting techniques. Operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Assisting with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as needed. Contributing to meeting daily picking and packing targets to ensure efficient logistics flow.

Requirements:
- Previous picking and packing experience is beneficial.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and order fulfillment systems.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of safety procedures, including proper PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
