Job Summary:
Are you a meticulous individual with a passion for accuracy? Our company is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain the integrity of our inventory within our Colorado Springs, Colorado facility. This critical role ensures that our stock levels are accurate, organized, and readily available for our Logistics operations. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing stock adjustments, and ensuring proper storage and handling of all materials. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse inventory systems. The ability to handle materials, which may involve Lifting , is essential, as is a strict adherence to all Safety protocols. You will be required to use provided PPE to ensure your well-being.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Manage stock adjustments and maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Oversee the put-away process, ensuring items are stored in the correct locations.
  • Monitor inventory for damaged or expired goods and take appropriate action.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Generate inventory reports and provide analysis to management.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., shipping, receiving) to ensure seamless inventory flow.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all Safety regulations.
  • Properly use all required PPE , including safety glasses, gloves, and other protective gear.
  • Support overall Logistics efficiency through accurate inventory management.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory best practices.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following Safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
