Picker/Packer

Job Summary:
We are seeking energetic and reliable individuals to fill Picker/Packer positions at our Des Moines facility. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from warehouse stock using pick lists or scanners.
• Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
• Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
• Label packages correctly for shipment.
• Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy through proper picking and stocking procedures.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
• Be prepared for consistent lifting of products throughout the shift.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily shipping goals.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret pick lists and labels.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motion.
• Capacity for lifting items weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Team-oriented and able to work well with others.
• Must be willing to adhere to all safety regulations, including proper use of PPE.
