Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare all outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy.
- Generate shipping labels and create necessary shipping documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers for shipment pickups and track shipments.
- Verify that packages are correctly labeled and packaged for transit.
- Maintain accurate records of all outgoing shipments.
- Communicate with relevant parties regarding shipment details and status.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Keep the shipping area organized and adhere to Safety protocols.
- Utilize required PPE consistently.
- Assist with other logistics tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a shipping, logistics, or administrative role is advantageous.
- Proficient in using computers and data entry software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Understanding of Safety procedures and the importance of PPE in a warehouse setting.
- Capability for light Lifting and movement of packages.
