Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare all outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Generate shipping labels and packing slips using various carrier software.
- Verify order details against shipment contents.
- Schedule pickups with shipping carriers and track shipments.
- Maintain accurate shipping logs and documentation.
- Communicate with customers and internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Ensure packages are properly secured and labeled for safe transit.
- Operate shipping software and other relevant office equipment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping or logistics preferred.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and shipping software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
