Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order slips.
- Verify product codes and quantities before packing.
- Carefully and securely pack items into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and ensure all necessary documentation is attached.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or order accuracy to the supervisor.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of incoming merchandise.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and utilize appropriate PPE.
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing performance targets.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed, contributing to the overall logistics flow.
- Conduct quality checks on packed items before dispatch.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform moderate lifting, up to 35 lbs, on a frequent basis.
- Strong attention to detail for order accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable using basic warehouse equipment and technology.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics principles.
- Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic.
