Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations as per order requirements.
- Verify item details and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items safely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and any necessary documentation accurately.
- Operate hand-held scanners and potentially warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and packing area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures diligently.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety vests and gloves, at all times.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as directed, such as restocking or inventory checks.
- Meet daily productivity and quality targets.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Basic understanding of logistics operations is beneficial.
- Dedication to workplace safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
