Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists or RF scanner instructions.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear and products are stored correctly.
- Participate in inventory control activities, such as cycle counts.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including proper lifting techniques.
- Ensure all required PPE is worn correctly and consistently.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues with orders or inventory to supervisors.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse picking role is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good stamina and ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Team-oriented with effective communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
