Job Summary:
Our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility is looking for energetic and reliable Picker/Packers to join our fast-paced logistics team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets, carefully packing these items into appropriate shipping containers, and preparing them for shipment. This position requires a high level of attention to detail to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. You will work closely with shipping and receiving personnel to maintain an efficient workflow. We prioritize safety in all our operations, and adherence to safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. The ability to perform consistent lifting of items, up to 60 pounds, is a key physical requirement for this job. - Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely using appropriate materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipping.
- Operate hand trucks or pallet jacks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Contribute to team efforts and overall warehouse efficiency.
