Picker/Packer

Job Summary:
We are seeking efficient and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our operations in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked from inventory and carefully packed for shipment. You will work within our warehouse environment, utilizing hand-held scanners and other tools to maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy. This position requires physical stamina and a dedication to workplace safety , crucial for our logistics success.
Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
• Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
• Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
• Label packages correctly for shipment.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and follow all safety procedures.
• Adhere to all company policies, including the mandatory use of provided PPE .
• Assist with inventory cycle counts as required.
• Report any issues with inventory or equipment to supervisors promptly.
• Contribute to meeting daily picking and packing targets.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
• Proficiency in Lifting items up to 40 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
• Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and using PPE correctly.
