Picker/Packer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications and then meticulously packing them for shipment. This is a critical role in our supply chain, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from designated locations within the warehouse using scanning equipment.
• Verify picked items against order lists to ensure accuracy.
• Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit.
• Label packages correctly with shipping information.
• Conduct quality checks on packed orders before they are dispatched.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all warehouse safety protocols.
• Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock put-away as needed.
• Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and product handling.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and understand order pick lists and product labels.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks, including significant Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles is a plus.
• Commitment to maintaining a high standard of Safety in all work activities.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
