Picker/Packer

Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team in Virginia Beach, Virginia, as a Picker/Packer! We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented individuals to efficiently pick customer orders and prepare them for shipment. In this role, you will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, accurately picking them, and then carefully packing them to ensure they arrive safely at their destination. This is a fast-paced position critical to our logistics operations and customer satisfaction. We emphasize a strong safety culture and provide a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items for customer orders using scanning devices or pick lists.
• Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
• Inspect items for any defects or damage before packing.
• Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
• Label packages with shipping information accurately.
• Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
• Meet daily picking and packing targets.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
• Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational skills.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Must wear assigned PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
• Understanding of logistics processes and order fulfillment.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive workspace.
