Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare all outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Verify shipping details, including addresses, quantities, and product information.
- Generate shipping labels and documentation, such as bills of lading and manifests.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup schedules and track outgoing packages.
- Ensure all shipments are properly packaged, labeled, and meet carrier requirements.
- Maintain organized and accurate shipping records.
- Inspect outgoing goods for quality and damage before shipment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and warehouse procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks when necessary.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a shipping, logistics, or warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with shipping software and common carrier platforms.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting, up to 30 pounds.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using appropriate PPE.
