Responsibilities:
- Receive picking assignments via handheld scanner or other devices.
- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelving according to order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other lifting equipment if certified.
- Package items appropriately for shipping and ensure they are staged for outbound logistics.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts by reporting any discrepancies.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines, including the mandated use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Must be able to perform consistent lifting and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent sense of direction and spatial awareness.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
