Responsibilities:
- Read order forms and/or use a handheld scanner to locate and pick correct items.
- Retrieve items from shelves and storage locations.
- Verify picked items against order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items in and out.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Operate pallet jacks or other equipment as needed (training may be provided).
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to a supervisor immediately.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment speed and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for the entire shift.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
