Order Picker

Job Summary:
We are seeking an efficient and precise Order Picker to join our distribution center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your speed and accuracy directly impact our logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will utilize handheld scanners and pick lists to navigate the warehouse and gather products. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety protocols. We are a growing company that values a dedicated workforce.
Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick customer orders using a voice-directed system or RF scanner.
• Locate and retrieve items from designated warehouse locations.
• Verify product codes and quantities against order information.
• Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
• Participate in inventory cycle counts.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Operate pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment as needed.
• Contribute to the overall efficiency of warehouse logistics.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse picking role is highly desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be comfortable standing, walking, and reaching for extended periods.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
• Team-oriented attitude.
