Fulfillment Associate

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Fulfillment Associate to join our busy warehouse in Des Moines, Iowa. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will play a crucial role in the entire order fulfillment process, from receiving goods to preparing them for shipment. This hands-on position requires accuracy, efficiency, and a strong commitment to our logistics operations. You will be involved in picking, packing, and staging orders, ensuring that each item is handled with care and precision. We emphasize a safe working environment, and all employees are expected to follow strict safety protocols, including the use of required PPE. Lifting of packages will be a regular part of the job.
Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
• Inspect products for quality and damage before packing.
• Prepare shipments for delivery, including labeling and documentation.
• Operate warehouse equipment as needed, such as scanners and pallet jacks.
• Maintain an organized and clean work station and warehouse environment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily fulfillment goals.
• Contribute to efficient logistics operations through timely and accurate work.
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
