Job Summary:
Become a vital part of our distribution network as a Fulfillment Associate in Des Moines, Iowa. This dynamic role encompasses various responsibilities within our warehouse, focusing on the accurate and efficient processing of orders from start to finish. You will be involved in receiving incoming goods, picking items for customer orders, packing them with care, and preparing them for shipment. Comprehensive training will be provided on safe material handling, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
  • Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
  • Inspect products for quality and damage.
  • Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
  • Label shipments correctly for distribution.
  • Operate warehouse equipment as needed, following all safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics role is a strong asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform lifting (up to 50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and system navigation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
