Additionally, you will prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately. This position requires active participation in maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock checks. You will work closely with the logistics team to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of all materials. A fundamental understanding of warehouse operations and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. This role demands physical stamina, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and adherence to all company policies and procedures, especially those concerning safety and the proper use of required PPE. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies.
- Verify incoming goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Accurately document all received items into the inventory management system.
- Pick, pack, and label outgoing orders with precision and care.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Collaborate with the logistics department to ensure smooth transportation of goods.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
