Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is critical to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of goods into and out of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. You will be responsible for unloading incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and stocking received goods. Additionally, you will prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately. This position requires active participation in maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock checks. You will work closely with the logistics team to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of all materials. A fundamental understanding of warehouse operations and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. This role demands physical stamina, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and adherence to all company policies and procedures, especially those concerning safety and the proper use of required PPE. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies.
  • Verify incoming goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Accurately document all received items into the inventory management system.
  • Pick, pack, and label outgoing orders with precision and care.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
  • Collaborate with the logistics department to ensure smooth transportation of goods.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Must be able to perform physical labor, including significant Lifting, and stand for extended periods. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus. Strong communication and teamwork skills are required. Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse work is preferred. Commitment to safety is paramount. Knowledge of logistics procedures is beneficial.
