Our growing logistics center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is looking for a diligent Shipping & Receiving Associate. This role is central to managing the flow of goods in and out of our facility. You will be responsible for expertly handling the receiving of incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality, and preparing outgoing orders for dispatch. This includes tasks such as unloading trucks, verifying contents, stocking shelves, picking items, packing orders securely, and loading shipments. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory.
- Unload and load trucks efficiently and safely.
- Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Store received goods in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Pick items for outgoing orders accurately.
- Pack orders securely, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and wear designated PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform significant Lifting, up to 60 lbs, regularly.
- Familiarity with inventory control principles and warehouse Safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and basic computer systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must wear all required PPE, including safety vests and shoes.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
