Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Chicago, Illinois. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Verify received goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Accurately document all incoming and outgoing shipments in the inventory management system.
- Pick, pack, and stage outgoing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including designated shipping and receiving areas.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and external vendors.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
