Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Clerk at our Boston, Massachusetts facility. This role is vital for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, directly supporting our logistics operations. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, performing physical inventories, and investigating and resolving any inventory discrepancies. Your duties will also include receiving, stocking, and organizing materials, ensuring that inventory is properly stored and accessible. You will utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and maintain accurate records. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of inventory control principles. While not primarily a material handling role, some Lifting may be required, and you will be expected to adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE when necessary. - Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials.
- Organize and maintain warehouse stock for efficient retrieval.
- Assist in identifying slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures, including appropriate PPE usage when handling materials.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Support audit processes related to inventory.
