Forklift Operator

Job Summary:
We are hiring a certified Forklift Operator for our facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will play a key role in maintaining the flow of materials within our warehouse and ensuring that inventory is handled properly. A strong focus on safety, adherence to operational procedures, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment are essential. This is a vital position within our logistics team.
Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to move pallets of goods to and from receiving, dock areas, and storage locations.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
• Perform daily inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe working order.
• Identify and report any mechanical issues with equipment.
• Stack and store materials in designated areas, ensuring stability and accessibility.
• Assist with inventory counts and maintaining accurate records.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, which may include some manual Lifting.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support the overall logistics and material flow within the warehouse.

Qualifications:

• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting, as needed.
• Familiarity with required PPE and its correct usage.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
