Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
- Manage and train warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
- Oversee inventory control, receiving, and shipping processes.
- Implement and enforce all safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for improved logistics.
- Resolve operational issues and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Ensure adherence to operational budgets.
- Support occasional lifting and physical tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, including PPE usage.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
