Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Kansas City, Missouri. In this critical role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and the highest standards of safety. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse logistics and supply chain management. You will enforce safety regulations, conduct regular safety training, and ensure compliance with all company policies, including the proper use of PPE. The ability to manage tasks involving significant lifting and physical coordination within the team is important. Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities and staff.
  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse operating procedures.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy.
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures, including proper PPE usage.
  • Train, motivate, and evaluate warehouse staff.
  • Monitor productivity and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics.
  • Manage shipping and receiving schedules.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
  • Experience with safety protocols and PPE requirements.
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and oversee lifting operations.
