Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to oversee our logistics operations in Nashville, Tennessee. This leadership role requires a blend of operational expertise, strong communication skills, and a commitment to Safety and efficiency. You will be responsible for managing daily warehouse activities, including inventory control, order fulfillment, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance with all Safety regulations. This position involves coordinating the flow of goods, optimizing space utilization, and implementing best practices in warehouse management. You will also play a key role in training and mentoring warehouse staff, ensuring they understand and follow procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe handling techniques. This role requires the ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting, typically up to 60 pounds, and a comprehensive understanding of logistics principles. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who can effectively manage priorities in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of warehouse staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and promote a Safety-first culture.
  • Implement and improve warehouse processes for efficiency.
  • Train staff on proper procedures, including equipment operation and PPE usage.
  • Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and other departments.
  • Manage documentation related to warehouse activities.
  • Address operational issues and implement solutions promptly.
  • Perform tasks requiring moderate to heavy Lifting and physical exertion.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in warehouse management or coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory control, and supply chain principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Safety and experience enforcing PPE compliance.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting and physical labor.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software.
  • Problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
