Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse strategies and operations.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular audits.
- Oversee the receiving and dispatching of goods, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Train and manage warehouse staff, providing guidance and support.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and workflow.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Liaise with transportation and logistics partners.
- Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or coordination role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with inventory control and management.
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving moderate lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Must be knowledgeable about safety procedures and the use of PPE in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications.
