Picker/Packer

Job Summary:
Join our team as a Picker/Packer in Madison, Wisconsin, and play a crucial role in our order fulfillment process. You will be responsible for accurately picking products based on customer orders and carefully packing them for shipment. Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret order sheets to accurately select products from warehouse shelves.
• Use scanning equipment to track inventory and verify picked items.
• Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
• Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Assist with receiving and stocking incoming goods.
• Follow all guidelines for safe Lifting and handling of products.
• Wear and properly utilize required PPE at all times.
• Contribute to team efforts and assist other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
• Ability to work with speed and accuracy in a dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
• Willingness to wear and maintain appropriate PPE.
• Good communication skills.
