You will be responsible for picking items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets, packing them securely for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. Attention to detail is critical to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction. We maintain a strong emphasis on safety, and all associates must follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform frequent Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, using appropriate packing materials.
- Label packages with shipping information accurately.
- Stage packed orders for outgoing shipment.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and protocols.
- Participate in team efforts to meet production goals.
- Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting up to 40 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and using PPE.
