Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of inventory control, including cycle counting, physical inventory, discrepancy resolution, and system updates. Your efforts will directly impact operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by ensuring we have the right stock in the right place at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock levels against system records.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy through data analysis and reporting.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations, receiving, and shipping departments to ensure seamless inventory flow.
  • Manage and maintain inventory records in our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory to minimize damage and loss.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in WMS or similar inventory software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed records.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE guidelines is mandatory.
