Job Summary:
We are hiring a diligent Picker/Packer for our busy Orlando, Florida warehouse. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This involves using order pick lists or scanning devices to locate items, ensuring the correct quantity and product type are picked. Once items are picked, you will meticulously pack them into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring they are protected during transit. Attention to detail is crucial to prevent shipping errors and maintain inventory integrity. You will work as part of a fast-paced logistics team, contributing to the efficient processing of customer orders. Safety is a core value; you must adhere to all warehouse safety rules, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques. This position requires physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and regular lifting of items up to 40 pounds. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and works well under pressure. Responsibilities include: Accurately picking items based on order specifications. Inspecting picked items for damage or defects. Packing items securely and efficiently for shipment. Labeling packages correctly for shipping. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Assisting with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed. Adhering to all safety procedures, including safe lifting practices and the use of PPE. Contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations through accuracy and efficiency.
