Our Raleigh, North Carolina facility is seeking an efficient Order Picker to join our logistics team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This involves using order pick lists, RF scanners, or other provided technology to locate and gather specified items. Precision in selecting the correct products and quantities is essential to maintain inventory accuracy and customer satisfaction. You will contribute to the smooth flow of operations within our distribution center, ensuring that orders are processed promptly and accurately. Safety is a top priority; therefore, you must strictly follow all warehouse safety guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and proper lifting techniques. This role requires physical stamina, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and lifting items typically up to 40 pounds. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include: Reading and interpreting order sheets or specifications. Locating and retrieving products from warehouse shelves accurately. Verifying product information and quantities against orders. Packaging picked items appropriately for transport. Maintaining a clean and organized work area. Assisting with inventory management tasks as needed. Adhering to all safety regulations, including safe lifting practices and the use of PPE. Contributing to the overall efficiency and accuracy of our order fulfillment process within the logistics network.
