Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our San Antonio, Texas operations. This role is vital to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, a cornerstone of our logistics success. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for conducting regular inventory counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring that our inventory records are up-to-date and accurate. You will work closely with the warehouse team to reconcile stock levels, identify and resolve inventory issues, and implement improvements to inventory control procedures. A keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach are essential. This position requires adherence to all safety guidelines and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While this role may involve less strenuous physical activity than other warehouse positions, there may be occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds and periods of standing and walking. Experience with inventory management software and a background in logistics are highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Track stock levels and report on inventory status.
- Identify and tag damaged or obsolete inventory.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and use of PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to improve inventory accuracy.
