Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on customer orders and picking lists.
- Utilize scanning devices to track picked items and ensure accuracy.
- Inspect picked items for any defects or damages.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Select correct shipping labels and apply them to packages.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as stocking shelves or quality control.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Meet productivity and quality standards for picking and packing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels accurately.
- Familiarity with RF scanners is beneficial.
- Ability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both individually and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic logistics operations.
