Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders based on provided lists or electronic devices.
- Verify the quantity and description of items picked against order requirements.
- Stage picked items for the next stage of the order fulfillment process.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, ensuring easy access to inventory.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment to transport goods.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety policies and procedures, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors.
- Contribute to achieving daily picking targets and overall team productivity within our logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting, particularly as an order picker, is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Capability of lifting up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and best practices for lifting.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude towards work.
