Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse inventory using pick lists or scanning equipment.
  • Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details to minimize errors.
  • Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipping.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and PPE requirements.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment as needed to retrieve items.
  • Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors immediately.
  • Assist with inventory control activities, such as cycle counts.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to order picking and warehouse operations.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, which may include light lifting.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred. Ability to read and interpret pick lists and labels accurately. Must be able to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds for extended periods. A strong commitment to safety and adherence to all PPE guidelines is essential. Basic understanding of inventory management and warehouse logistics. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team. Good attention to detail and accuracy. High school diploma or GED preferred.
