Picker/Packer

Job Summary:
Join our vibrant warehouse team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as a Picker/Packer! This essential role involves accurately selecting products from inventory and preparing them for shipment to our customers. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick assigned items from various warehouse locations using RF scanning technology or pick lists.
• Inspect picked items for any damage or defects prior to packing.
• Package orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate boxes and packing materials to protect contents during transit.
• Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details and packing slips.
• Apply correct shipping labels and documentation to packages.
• Stage packed orders in designated areas for carrier pickup.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all established Safety protocols.
• Operate pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment safely.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock organization.
• Perform regular Lifting and movement of items, with weights typically up to 50 pounds.
• Ensure full compliance with all company Safety guidelines and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Support the smooth functioning of Logistics by meeting daily fulfillment targets.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a Picker/Packer or similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are required.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain productivity in a fast-paced setting.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Willingness and ability to perform frequent Lifting.
• Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Commitment to upholding a safe and secure workplace.
