Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Track the movement of inventory, including receipts, shipments, and transfers.
- Identify and report damaged or expired stock.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure proper inventory storage.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory accuracy across the logistics chain.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and WMS.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards, including proper lifting techniques and the importance of PPE.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform tasks requiring occasional lifting.
