Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by comparing system data with physical counts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Identify and report on damaged or expired stock.
- Assist in receiving and put-away processes to ensure proper stock placement.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Monitor stock levels and alert management to potential shortages or overstock situations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and proper handling of materials.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all company policies, including those concerning safety and the use of appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role.
- Proficiency in using WMS and other inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with logistics and warehousing best practices.
