Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations. - Coordinate with freight carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Verify that all outgoing shipments match order details and are accurately documented.
- Ensure packages are correctly labeled and marked according to carrier and destination requirements.
- Maintain organized shipping records and files.
- Communicate with internal departments and external partners regarding shipment status.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Operate shipping software and equipment accurately.
- Assist with receiving functions as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and accuracy of the logistics department.
