Job Summary:
Our Nashville, Tennessee facility is looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory levels. This role is vital for optimizing warehouse operations, reducing discrepancies, and ensuring product availability for our customers. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, implementing inventory control procedures, and utilizing our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track stock movement. You will also be involved in receiving and put-away processes, ensuring items are stored correctly and efficiently. A critical aspect of this role involves analyzing inventory data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement. Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. We prioritize workplace Safety , and adherence to all safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE , is mandatory. While this role is primarily focused on data and systems, some physical interaction with inventory may require moderate Lifting . Experience with inventory management software and a solid understanding of Logistics are highly desirable. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system data and physical stock.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Manage and maintain the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for inventory accuracy.
  • Oversee the receiving and put-away process to ensure proper storage.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend adjustments.
  • Monitor stock rotation and identify obsolete or slow-moving inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and proper use of PPE .
  • Support the Logistics team with inventory-related inquiries.
