Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Develop and implement procedures for inventory control, including receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping.
- Monitor stock levels and report any potential shortages or overages.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist in receiving and put-away processes as needed, involving moderate lifting.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and organization of the warehouse, supporting logistics objectives.
- Train other staff members on inventory control best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and logistics.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving lifting up to 40 pounds.
