Job Summary:
Our logistics center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist. This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory through systematic tracking, cycle counting, and reconciliation. You will play a key part in optimizing stock levels, reducing discrepancies, and improving overall warehouse efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of inventory management principles, and a commitment to maintaining accurate records. You will collaborate with various warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations and identify areas for improvement. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a dedication to upholding high standards of accuracy. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or overages.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Track the movement of goods within the warehouse.
  • Assist in the receiving and put-away process to ensure proper inventory placement.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and other inventory management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Commitment to safety standards and procedures.
