Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse inventory according to order specifications.
- Verify item numbers, descriptions, and quantities before picking.
- Utilize RF scanners and other warehouse technology to guide picking activities.
- Ensure picked items are handled carefully and placed in appropriate containers or on carts.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items found during the picking process.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety shoes and vests, as mandated.
- Participate in inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Must be able to handle lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Proficiency with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory management principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
