Order Picker

Responsibilities:

• Retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
• Utilize RF scanners and pick lists to ensure accuracy.
• Verify product identification and quantities.
• Package items carefully to prevent damage during transit.
• Assist in moving and organizing inventory within the picking zones.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with all safety regulations.
• Wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests, as mandated.
• Contribute to inventory accuracy through diligent picking practices.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
• Regular lifting and moving of boxes and items will be a part of the daily routine.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret order sheets and product information.
• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Understanding of warehouse safety best practices is essential.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Comfortable using technology such as RF scanners.
