Responsibilities:
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation for all outgoing orders.
- Verify order accuracy against shipping manifests.
- Package items securely and appropriately for transit.
- Load shipments onto delivery trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Communicate with inventory and order fulfillment teams to resolve any issues.
- Ensure all shipments comply with company policies and carrier requirements.
- Utilize appropriate PPE and follow all safety guidelines during shipping operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carrier portals is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
