Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, providing clear direction and performance feedback.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Implement and enforce all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory control processes to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Optimize workflow and space utilization to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure the safe operation of all warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure all employees utilize appropriate PPE .
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement operational strategies.
- Maintain records of warehouse activities, performance metrics, and staff schedules.
- Address and resolve any operational issues or employee concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control techniques.
- Excellent knowledge of Logistics and supply chain management.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of workplace Safety .
- Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with warehouse management software.
